Celtic Careers is seeking an experienced Head of Aftersales in Ireland to take overall responsibility for a major aftersales operation. Reporting to the Managing Director, the role spans Parts, Service, Warranty, Technical and Network Operations across multiple locations.

The successful candidate will blend strategic leadership with hands-on focus on performance, customer experience and continuous improvement, building capability through coaching, budgets and KPI-driven actions.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute the overall aftersales strategy in line with the organisation's wider commercial objectives.
• Lead and support managers across Parts, Service, Warranty, Technical and network operations.
• Take accountability for aftersales revenue, profitability, budgets and cost performance.
• Drive improvements in workshop productivity, parts availability, warranty performance and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners, dealers, service providers and key customers.
• Ensure consistent operational standards and customer experience across multiple locations and network partners.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical, warranty and customer issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems, technology and operational efficiency.
• Support the organisation's response to evolving vehicle technologies, including electrification, diagnostics and connected services.
• Develop team capability through effective leadership, coaching, training and succession planning.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced automotive aftersales leader to take overall responsibility for a significant Irish aftersales operation.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this senior leadership position will oversee the performance and development of the wider aftersales function, spanning Parts, Service, Warranty, Technical and Network Operations.

This is a commercially focused role for an individual who can combine strategic leadership with a hands‑on approach to operational performance, customer experience and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

As Head of Aftersales, you will:

• Develop and execute the overall aftersales strategy in line with the organisation's wider commercial objectives.
• Lead and support managers across Parts, Service, Warranty, Technical and network operations.
• Take accountability for aftersales revenue, profitability, budgets and cost performance.
• Drive improvements in workshop productivity, parts availability, warranty performance and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with manufacturer partners, dealers, service providers and key customers.

Key requirements

We are looking for an established senior aftersales professional with a strong track record within automotive distribution, retail, OEM or a similarly complex service environment.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant leadership experience within automotive aftersales or service operations.
• Strong knowledge of Parts, Warranty, Technical Support and Workshop/Service operations.
• Experience managing commercial performance, budgets, revenue and profitability.
• A proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and operate across multiple locations or a wider service network.
• Experience managing relationships with OEMs, dealers, service partners and major customers.
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn operational data and KPIs into practical action.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• A hands‑on, solutions-focused approach combined with strong strategic capability.
• Experience within commercial vehicles, LCVs, buses, coaches, fleet or EV operations would be advantageous.
