Job summary

The Merrion is seeking an experienced Head Concierge to lead the Concierge team on a fulltime, onsite basis in Dublin. Reporting to the Director of Guest Relations, you will direct Supervisors, Doormen and Car Valet Parkers, while ensuring exceptional service across pre- and post-stay experiences.

You will maintain current knowledge of Dublin’s attractions and events, network with local partners, and drive guest satisfaction with a hands-on leadership approach. Interviews are conducted in person.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in a Concierge role in a 5* hotel.
• Hands-on experience in managing teams.
• Strong English language skills, spoken and written.
• Knowledge of local attractions and Dublin hospitality network.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Concierge department operations.

The Merrion, one of Dublin's finest luxury hotels is recruiting for an experienced Head Concierge.

Reporting to the Director of Guest Relations, this is a fulltime permanent role based onsite, 39 hours per week. This role is responsible for assisting the Director of Guest Relations in planning, coordinating and directing the operations of the Concierge department, ensuring that all our guests receive the highest level of service before, during and after their stay.

The successful candidate will oversee and manage a team comprising Supervisors, Doormen, and Car Valet Parkers. They will have a proven track record in a Concierge role in a 5* hotel, will have a solid working knowledge of the Opera property Management system and will have a hands on experience in managing teams. They will also have a strong working knowledge of the English language both spoken and written.

Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of local attractions, events, dining options, and other amenities, the Head Concierge will actively network and build key contacts within Dublin's hospitality, culture and events sectors.
