Job summary

Mount Juliet Estate is seeking an Accommodation Supervisor to join our team in Thomastown. As part of a luxury 5* resort, you will uphold top cleanliness, manage bedrooms for check-in/out, and ensure guests enjoy premier service and security across the estate.

Experience in hospitality, a team-oriented mindset, and a flexible attitude toward shifts (weekends and early/late hours) are essential. Training and development opportunities are provided within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality environments preferred.
• Ability to engage well with guests and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high cleanliness standards across the Estate.
• Clean and maintain hotel bedrooms for check-in/check-out.
• Clean public areas, meeting rooms and office spaces.
• Communicate all maintenance requests clearly to the Maintenance Team.
• Deal with guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Ensure all checklists are completed and procedures followed.
• Follow estate policy for security and loss property handling.
• Be flexible with working hours, including weekends and shifts.

Main Duties

• Maintains excellent standards of cleanliness throughout the Estate
• Clean and maintain hotel bedrooms for check in and check out
• Cleaning of public areas / meeting rooms and office space
• Ensures all maintenance requests are communicated clearly to the Maintenance Team.
• Deals with all guest requests in a professional and timely manner.
• Ensure that all checklists are completed.
• Follows Estate procedure for the acceptance, security and return of guest lost property.
• Adheres to Estate policy for key control and security.
• Be committed to the team and the Hotel industry.
• Be flexible with working hours (must be available for weekends and midweek, early starts and late finishes)
• Report all potential and real hazards immediately.
• Attend all fire, health and safety and first aid training.
• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations, by strict adherence to existing laws and reporting any possible hazards and conditions to the Manager.
• Be passionate about hospitality, and thrive on working as part of a team.
• Be personable, responsible and conscientious.
• Have the ability to deliver great customer service and develop relationships with our guests.
• Have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Be committed to their own personal development.
• Be comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
