Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to deliver friendly, efficient service to hotel guests. You will receive training through our Dalata Academy and have opportunities to grow within the company.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will greet guests by name, upsell, and contribute to a high-volume, guest-focused service environment. Fluency in English and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or service roles is preferred.
• Fluent English with strong communication abilities is essential.
• Ability to manage high-volume service periods and maintain guest satisfaction.
• Willingness to work mornings/evenings/weekends as required.
• Experience with Micros POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests by name and provide friendly, professional service.
• Know the food and wine offerings; make recommendations to guests.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• Maintain cleanliness of bar and restaurant areas.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
• Support team with general duties as needed.
