Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group plc is seeking a Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. You will receive training through the Dalata Academy to help you learn important skills and meet experienced team members who can support your growth.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and the Operations Manager, you will deliver friendly and efficient service to hotel guests, while upselling where appropriate and maintaining high standards throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food & beverage or hotel environment is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours including mornings/evenings & weekends.
• Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
• Micros experience would be preferable.
• Experience in a hotel is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Greet regular guests by name and provide friendly service.
• Maintain working knowledge of food and wine and make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue wherever possible.
• Carry out general cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Serve guests with food and beverages.
