Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to join our hotel team in Ireland. You will provide warm, efficient service to guests, learn the essentials through the Dalata Academy, and build your skills in a supportive, internal career path.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager and Operations Manager, you will upsell, know the wine list, assist with bar and restaurant duties, and greet regular guests by name while maintaining high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is essential.
• Flexibility in working hours incl. mornings/evenings/weekends.
• Experience in a high-volume/fast-paced environment.
• Micros experience preferable.

Responsibilities

• Regular guests are known and greeted accordingly, using their names.
• Ensure a good working knowledge of food and wine. Be able to make recommendations.
• Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
• Upsell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible.
• General cleaning of bar and restaurant.
• Served guests with food and beverage.
