Jobbeschreibung

Staycity Group is looking for an exceptional Group Director of Sales to lead our Group-wide sales strategy and sales leadership team across both Staycity and Wilde Aparthotels.

This is a newly created role with two clear priorities: driving profitable revenue growth across our existing portfolio and building a modern, efficient and scalable sales function to support our continued growth into new properties and markets.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer and based at our Dublin head office, you'll lead our Directors of Sales across multiple markets, bringing clear direction, strong commercial discipline and a focus on developing people. You'll also play an important role in shaping wider commercial decisions, working closely with senior leaders across the Group.

We're looking for a strategic, commercially sharp leader who can turn ambition into results, improve how we work and build a high-performing team ready for our next stage of growth. You may come from hospitality or a sector with similar booking behaviour, such as airlines, online travel or travel technology. What matters most is your ability to grow revenue profitably, lead senior teams and use data, technology and customer insight to make better commercial decisions.

This is an opportunity to shape a new role, make a real impact across two brands and build a strong foundation for the Group's future, with scope to progress into a broader commercial leadership position.

Benefits:
  • Paid family leave(>1 year of service)
  • Flexible working patterns
  • Bonus scheme that rewards high performers;- based on our core values and tied to individual property goals
  • Discounted rates for overnight stays for you, and your family and friends
  • Refer and earn scheme - earn up to £/€550
  • Cycle to work scheme- to support a healthy lifestyle and our planet
  • Education Support to help you foster new skills
  • Volunteer days: 2 paid volunteer days per year
  • EAP: Support for you and your family when you need it with our Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Private Health and Dental Insurance (Ireland only)
  • Private Pension scheme (Ireland only)
What You'll Be Responsible For
Commercial Strategy & Profitable Growth
  • Define and deliver a single Group sales strategy across both brands, aligned with the CCO's commercial plan and the Group's growth ambitions.
  • Own Group sales performance and revenue targets across corporate, leisure, groups, extended stay and partner segments.
  • Translate the Group strategy into clear priorities, targets and plans for each Director of Sales and their teams.
  • Drive profitable, sustainable growth by improving revenue quality, optimising segment and channel mix, increasing higher-margin and direct business, and reducing cost of sale.
  • Identify opportunities in new markets, customer segments and partnerships, ensuring every new property is ready to sell from day one.
  • Bring an outside-in perspective, drawing on best practice from hospitality, airlines, online travel and other fast-moving B2C sectors.
Sales Leadership & Organisational Development
  • Lead, motivate and develop all Directors of Sales across both brands and multiple markets, building a high-performing, accountable senior leadership team.
  • Set clear direction, performance measures and sales rhythms, ensuring every leader understands expectations and takes ownership of results.
  • Translate Group priorities into clear objectives for individual leaders and their teams, providing the support and challenge needed to deliver.
  • Review and evolve sales structures, processes and ways of working across both brands, removing duplication and improving efficiency as the business grows.
  • Build capability and succession within the sales function, ensuring the right people, skills and structures are in place for the Group's future.
  • Create a culture of curiosity, collaboration and continuous improvement, bringing structure and accountability without losing the pace and entrepreneurial spirit behind Staycity's growth.
Data, Technology & Customer Insight
  • Champion the use of CRM, data and automation so teams spend more time selling and less time on administration.
  • Establish consistent disciplines for account planning, pipeline management, forecasting and reporting across the Group.
  • Use performance data and customer insight to identify trends, challenge assumptions and make faster, better commercial decisions.
  • Build a deep understanding of B2C booking behaviour alongside B2B and account-based selling, using these insights to shape how and where we sell.
  • Partner with Tech, Digital and BI teams on sales tools, reporting, automation and the CRM roadmap.
  • Stay ahead of developments in travel technology, distribution and AI that could give the Group a commercial edge.
Executive & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Act as a trusted partner to the CCO, contributing to the Group's wider commercial strategy and long-term growth.
  • Bring clear sales performance, market and customer insight to strategic, pricing and growth decisions.
  • Work closely with Revenue, Distribution, Marketing, Finance and Operations to align sales priorities and maximise overall commercial performance.
  • Provide clear performance reporting, recommendations and forward-looking insight to the CCO and senior leadership team.
  • Represent Staycity Group with key clients, partners and industry networks across our markets.
What Success Looks Like
  • Profitable revenue growth across both brands, with improving revenue quality, margin and segment mix.
  • A stronger contribution from direct and higher-margin business, alongside a reduction in cost of sale.
  • One joined-up Group sales strategy, understood and owned by every Director of Sales.
  • A high-performing, motivated senior sales team with clear accountability, strong capability and succession in place.
  • A simpler, more efficient sales function, with consistent processes, reporting and effective use of technology.
  • Better use of data and customer insight to identify opportunities and improve commercial decisions.
  • A sales organisation with the structure, skills and processes to support the Group's next stage of growth.
  • A leader ready to take on broader commercial responsibility as the business evolves.
What You'll Bring
  • Significant senior sales or commercial leadership experience, with a track record of delivering profitable revenue growth.
  • Experience leading senior leaders across multiple locations or markets, setting clear direction and building high-performing teams.
  • Experience in hospitality or a sector with similar booking behaviour, such as airlines, online travel or travel technology.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, with the judgement to balance revenue growth, margin and long-term value.
  • A clear understanding of B2C customer behaviour and booking journeys, alongside B2B and account-based selling.
  • Experience improving organisational structures, processes and ways of working to make teams more effective and scalable.
  • Confidence using CRM, analytics, digital sales tools and automation to improve performance and decision-making.
  • The ability to turn Group strategy into clear priorities, practical plans and measurable results.
  • International or multi-market experience, with the ability to adapt to different markets while maintaining consistent Group-wide standards.
  • Strategic thinking, insatiable curiosity and a natural drive to challenge existing approaches and continuously improve.
  • Exceptional people leadership, with the ability to motivate, develop and hold senior leaders accountable while creating an environment where people can thrive.

Above all, you'll bring kindness, clarity and curiosity to your leadership. You'll be comfortable with ambiguity, enjoy working at pace and know how to bring people with you through change.

If you're looking for an opportunity to shape a new role, influence the commercial direction of a growing international Group and build a sales function for the future, we'd love to hear from you.
