Job summary

The K Club is seeking a Golf Reservations Agent to join its Golf Team. You will handle calls and emails, enter bookings into the golf system, and maintain high standards of customer service while driving additional sales of resort products.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in a reservations role, fluent English, and strong communication skills. Flexible hours and a golf interest are desirable. The role offers opportunities for growth within a prestigious 5-star resort.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' reservations experience.
• Highly motivated with targets in mind.

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Flexible in working hours and shifts.
• Knowledge of Opera/Concept is desirable.
• Interest or knowledge of golf is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and emails professionally and obtain required information.
• Enter bookings into the golf system and send confirmations.
• Run daily booking reports to check availability.
• Deliver high-standard service and build long-term relationships.
• Handle bookings for K Golf World, including cancellations/refunds.
• Upsell accommodation, spa, vouchers, and other services.
• Process payments for golf bookings and manage mailbox.
• Maintain knowledge of resort rate structures and packages.
• Coordinate transport and highlight VIP clients in the system.
• Enter bookings in Opera and Lightspeed and produce reports.

Here's how you'll bring the K Club's trailblazing vision to life:

• Answer phone calls and emails relating to new business or existing inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, obtain all relevant information and ensure the response is received in a timely manner.
• Enter individual bookings into the golf booking system and send confirmations to guests
• Run daily booking reports to check that the online system has appropriate levels of availability
• Ensure that the highest standard of service is provided to all K Club clients and for all business enquiries. Assist in creating and maintaining long standing client relationships through outstanding customer service.
• Take calls and bookings for K Golf World including cancellations and refunds and monitor the res diary booking system
• To ensure that all company products are sold and every opportunity for cross-selling is developed. This would include accommodation, spa, vouchers, etc.
• Take hotel bookings, restaurant bookings, spa bookings, activity bookings, etc, when required.
• Ensure payment procedure is adhered to for all golf bookings
• Upsell restaurant bookings for individual and golf bookings
• To manage the Golf Reservations mail box - forwarding emails where required, flagging and ticking emails as per training, prioritising in order of importance, ensuring emails are responded to within the 48 hour window.
• To have full knowledge of the Resort Rate Structure, including the various packages on offer
• Chase all Tour Operator bookings for pre-payment 30 days prior to arrival.
• Book all transport requirements for guests
• Ensure VIP clients are highlighted in the system and the team notified through various channels
• To ensure all reservations are entered correctly into Opera and Lightspeed for each guest
• To ensure all bookings receive an accurate K Club confirmation
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly reports on bookings and other key information as required.

Here's how we see you:

• A minimum of two years' experience in a similar reservations role
• Be highly motivated and driven to achieve targets
• Will have excellent negotiation and decision making skills
• Will possess excellent communication and organisational skills
• Will have fluency in English, both oral and written
• Will have flexible in their working hours
• Knowledge of Concept and Opera is desirable
• An keen interest and knowledge of golf is desirable
