Job summary

Deel is seeking a Presales Delivery Consultant within Global Payroll Solutions. You will guide customers from Sales to Implementation with clear scope, confident readiness, and delivery alignment across countries and processes.

You will lead payroll discovery, document scope, and work with OBMs/PMs to ensure feasible, on-time rollouts. Join Sales on complex opportunities and drive delivery-first outcomes for enterprise clients worldwide.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in global payroll, payroll implementation, or payroll operations.
• Deep understanding of multi-country payroll compliance and processes.
• Experience leading or supporting payroll discovery, onboarding, or implementation projects.
• Ability to run structured, high-impact client discovery sessions.
• Strong documentation and handover discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll discovery sessions with prospective and new customers.
• Document country scope, populations, local processes, frequencies, benefits, obligations, and integrations.
• Identify operational, compliance, and product risks early in the journey.
• Validate scope, timelines, and rollout approaches.
• Prepare go-live dates and rollout plans.
• Create delivery-ready handover packs for OBMs and PMs.
• Ensure knowledge and scope continuity between sales and implementation.
• Document assumptions, risks, dependencies, and constraints clearly.
• Support Sales on complex global payroll opportunities with expertise.
• Join sales calls to validate scope and set client expectations.
• Lead Country Spotlight and enablement sessions with payroll teams.
• Share country-specific risks and best practices.
• Feed discovery insights to Product, tooling, and Sales enablement.
