Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal, Software Architect for Open Finance in Dublin. This hands-on leader will define target architecture, modernize platforms, and drive a global, secure, scalable ecosystem.

You will guide product and engineering teams, establish reusable patterns, and apply AI-assisted engineering to accelerate prototyping while ensuring regulatory and privacy compliance across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale architecture.
• Hands-on software engineering with distributed systems.
• Experience leveraging generative AI to improve engineering productivity.
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, APIs, security and data integration.
• Ability to translate architectural concepts into measurable business outcomes.
• Strong communication and leadership across senior stakeholders.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the North Star architecture for Mastercard Open Finance.
• Develop phased architecture roadmaps for modernization and priorities.
• Lead architectural decision-making across Product, Engineering, and Tech.
• Evaluate complex challenges and validate solutions with PoCs.
• Promote reusable architecture patterns and IaC practices.
• Mentor architects and engineers through influence and collaboration.
