Mastercard is seeking a Senior Principal, Software Architect for the Open Finance team in Dublin. This hands-on, influential role defines the architecture and partners with Product, Engineering, and Technology to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient Open Finance solutions.

You will drive target architecture, roadmaps, and reusable patterns, mentor engineers, and apply AI-assisted practices to accelerate prototyping while ensuring regulatory and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Hands-on software engineering with demonstrable coding skills.
• Proven experience in enterprise-scale architecture and platform strategy.
• Open Finance / Open Banking domain knowledge welcome.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the North Star architecture for Mastercard Open Finance.
• Develop phased architecture roadmaps to modernize platforms and establish priorities.
• Lead architectural decision-making across product, engineering, and technology.
