Mastercard Inc. is seeking a Senior Principal, Software Architect for Open Finance in Dublin.

This hands-on leader defines target architecture, drives a multi-year modernization path, and partners across Product, Engineering and Technology to deliver scalable, secure solutions. You will mentor architects and engineers, champion reusable patterns, and ensure global platform consistency with local regulatory requirements while leveraging generative AI to accelerate prototyping and engineering

Qualificações

• Proven experience leading enterprise-scale architecture and platform strategy.
• Strong CS foundation with distribution and fintech experience preferred.
• Hands-on software engineering with prototype development and evaluation.

Responsabilidades

• Define North Star architecture for Mastercard Open Finance and translate strategy into a scalable tech vision.
• Develop phased roadmaps to modernize platforms with clear milestones and outcomes.
• Lead architectural decision-making across Product, Engineering and Technology.
• Evaluate complex technical challenges, identify risks, and validate solutions with proofs of concept.
• Leverage generative AI to accelerate prototyping and improve engineering productivity.
• Promote reusable architecture patterns, IaC, automation, and engineering standards.
• Modernize platform by consolidating capabilities and retiring legacy tech.
• Design cloud-native services for bank connectivity, consent management, and data sharing.
• Balance global consistency with local regulatory requirements.
• Guide architecture from concept to production ensuring security and cost efficiency.
• Influence decisions across all levels and mentor teams.
