Job summary

Jobgether, listed on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Core Network Lead based in Ireland to guide MVNO core design, integrations, and operations in a fully remote, international setting.

You will lead a small engineering/QA team, own architecture, and ensure end-to-end service readiness across data, voice, and messaging with global operator collaborations. Strong telecom compliance and automation focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in mobile core networks design, integration, or ops.
• Experience leading engineers/QA in agile, delivery-focused settings.
• Deep knowledge of HSS/HLR, VoLTE, and legacy voice.
• Strong understanding of Diameter, SS7, SIP signalling.
• Experience with MVNO architectures and operator integrations.
• Familiarity with telecom regulatory requirements and calling party routing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of ~5 engineers/QA across global rollout projects.
• Define engineering standards, tests, and documentation.
• Oversee operator integrations for signalling, packet core, voice, messaging.
• Own MVNO core design: databases, packet core, signalling, messaging.
• Manage signalling stack troubleshooting and integration.
• Ensure end-to-end service readiness for data, voice, SMS.
• Design and validate number portability routing per country rules.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across markets (ETSI, emergency routing).
• Coordinate test plans, stress/acceptance testing with QA.
• Drive operational readiness and handover to 24/7 teams.
• Identify improvements in integration, automation, and delivery.
