Job summary

Three Ireland is seeking a Network Solution Architect to lead end-to-end strategy and design for Core Network, OSS, Service Layer and IoT domains. You will shape roadmaps, perform impact assessments and advise on investment decisions across IT, security and vendor ecosystems.

The role requires deep expertise in 2G-5G Core, cloud-native platforms, and strong leadership while delivering secure, scalable, and commercially viable solutions within a hybrid work model in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years in telecommunications engineering with at least 3 years in architecture, design authority, or leadership.
• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end strategy, architecture and design governance for Core Network, OSS, Service Layer and IoT/ICT.
• Develop HLSDs, DNAs and provide technical and commercial recommendations to support investment decisions.
• Architect integration across IT/BSS, security, vendor ecosystems and cloud-native platforms.
• Lead architectural reviews, risk assessments and governance across multiple domains.
• Drive security, resilience, regulatory alignment and operational feasibility.
