Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Solutions Engineering Lead based in Ireland to shape the pre-sales strategy, own the SE function, and guide architecture decisions across customer opportunities. You will work with Sales, Success, and customers to convert complex challenges into scalable, secure cloud solutions.

The role is fully remote, requiring collaboration across Europe and a strong focus on leadership, execution, and business impact. A high degree of autonomy and strategic thinking is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing complex technical sales opportunities.
• Strong knowledge of content delivery networks (CDNs), networking, and internet infrastructure.
• Experience with technologies such as Web Application Firewalls (WAF), DDoS protection, bot mitigation, and API security.
• Familiarity with containerization, serverless computing, databases, and related cloud or infrastructure technologies.
• Leadership experience coaching technical professionals and helping team members grow.
• Experience leading technical pre-sales activities and building scalable processes/teams.
• Strong commercial acumen in pricing, packaging, consumption-based models and margins.
• Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Autonomy and initiative in fast-paced environments.
• Customer and partner focus with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience scaling a Solutions Engineering function in cloud/infrastructure/SaaS contexts and partnering with channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Solutions Engineering function and establish a scalable operating model.
• Drive technical pre-sales from discovery through design, PoC, integration, and deal closure.
• Design customer solutions addressing infrastructure, performance, security, and scalability.
• Partner with Sales on pricing, packaging, usage models, and margins.
• Mentor and develop the existing Solutions Engineer team.
• Build playbooks, documentation, workflows, and best practices for efficiency.
• Improve onboarding and integrations with customers and partners.
• Support commercial teams by translating technical value into business propositions.
• Strengthen collaboration with partners to drive opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost team performance and customer experience.
