Job summary

Web Summit in Ireland is seeking a senior leader to head Investor Relations, building and guiding a team that secures participation of the world's leading venture investors at our conferences.

You will partner with Growth, Speakers and Attendee Success teams to generate high-quality leads, source top speakers, and drive revenue targets while maintaining investor engagement at a global level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with strong performance preferred.
• Experience in investor market, startups, and technology.
• Proven ability to recruit and manage relationships with global investors.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills and audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the investor relations team to identify, recruit, and foster relationships with innovative venture investors attending Web Summit events.
• Collaborate with the Speaker team to source speakers for the Venture stage and events.
• Drive sales initiatives and coach the team in engaging with leading investors across funds and startups.
• Represent Web Summit in industry networks, creating compelling proposals for attending investors.
• Oversee Salesforce database of attending investors and prospects, applying best practices and data analysis.
• Work with Growth, Founders, Speakers and Attendee Success teams to generate leads and enhance attendee experiences.
• Analyze sales funnel data with Business Intelligence to improve processes and outcomes.
• Coordinate with Content team to share success stories and capital commitments of top investors.
