Job summary

Web Summit is seeking an organised operations professional to join the Speaker Operations team in Ireland. You will analyse and improve business processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement scalable improvements across the team.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with systems, reporting and governance while building dashboards and operational insights to support decision-making. This role offers a collaborative environment and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in operations, process improvement, project coordination or a similar role.
• Comfort with spreadsheets, databases, reporting tools and operational systems.
• Ability to turn data into clear, actionable operational insights.
• Strong ability to understand complex processes and suggest practical improvements.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills with multiple workstreams.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and improve business processes, identifying inefficiencies, risks and opportunities to scale ways of working.
• Develop strong operational and project management skills, owning processes from start to finish.
• Design, implement and embed new ways of working across a team.
• Build confidence working with systems, tools and data, improving how information is captured and used.
• Create clear reporting, dashboards and performance insights to support decisions.
• Identify patterns, bottlenecks and risks through data analysis and operational reporting.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with different teams and stakeholders.
• Develop stakeholder management and communication skills, contributing to change management.
• Think beyond day-to-day tasks to contribute to long-term operational improvement and scalability.
