DSV Road GmbH in Naas, Ireland is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage freight forwarding activities from booking through delivery. You will coordinate with customers, internal teams and overseas offices to monitor shipments, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain accurate invoicing and KPI reporting.

The role requires excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills, with experience in a freight forwarding environment preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Naas.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective communication with customers and internal departments via email and telephone.
• Accurately receive and enter bookings into the company’s TMS.
• Liaise with operations teams and overseas offices to ensure customer commitments are met.
• Monitor shipments to ensure deliveries are completed within agreed timelines.
• Produce accurate and timely invoicing.
• Input costs into the company’s internal systems.
• Prepare and submit quotations in line with current procedures.
• Create and maintain KPIs using company systems and Microsoft Excel.
