Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Naas is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to manage end-to-end freight forwarding activities from booking through final delivery. You will work closely with customers, internal teams and overseas offices to monitor shipments and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.

The role requires strong communication, high attention to detail and proficiency in IT systems, including MS Office; experience with Cargolink/Webcost is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in a freight forwarding environment.
• Strong customer service mindset and resilience.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure with accuracy.
• Excellent numeracy and data entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely communication with customers and internal departments via email and phone.
• Accurately receive and enter bookings into the company’s TMS.
• Ensure consignments are directed to the correct department.
• Coordinate with operations teams and overseas offices to meet commitments.
• Monitor shipments to ensure timely deliveries within agreed timelines.
• Proactively resolve issues with customers and colleagues.
• Produce accurate invoicing and input costs in internal systems.
• Provide POD documentation as required.
• Prepare and submit quotations in line with procedures.
• Create and maintain KPIs using company systems and Excel.
• Complete non-conformance reporting when required.
• Support day-to-day administrative activities.
• Monitor volume trends and escalate changes to management.
