Job summary

DSV Road GmbH in Naas is seeking a Road Freight Operator to manage bookings, coordinate transport and liaise with customers, hauliers and partners. You will ensure on-time delivery while controlling costs and maintaining compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong organisational and communication skills, can work independently, and is proficient in Excel/Word. Freight transport experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full transport process, from booking through to final delivery.

• Coordinate transport, secure capacity, and negotiate rates as needed.
• Prepare transport documentation, invoices, and handle administration.
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with SLAs, SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Manage costs and support revenue and profitability targets.

You ensure cargo moves safely, efficiently, and on time — from origin to final destination. Your contribution keeps customers confident and operations moving.

What will you be doing?

• Manage the full transport process, from booking through to final delivery.
• Communicate with customers, internal teams, hauliers, and international partners to keep operations running smoothly.
• Coordinate transport, secure capacity, and negotiate rates when needed.
