Job summary

Bausch Health Ireland in Dublin is seeking a Senior Director, Supply Chain - Global External Manufacturing (GEM) to lead end-to-end external manufacturing operations, optimize processes across global suppliers, and ensure inventory delivery aligns with forecast and financial goals.

You will manage a 24/7 network across regions, drive continuous improvement, harmonize GEM practices, and collaborate with Procurement, Finance, QA, and Regulatory Affairs to sustain supply continuity and regulatory

Qualifications

• Direct team / people management experience essential.
• Bachelor's degree required; APICS certification an advantage.
• Minimum 10 years supply chain experience.
• ERP system experience and knowledge of all inventory and sales order processing transactions.
• Ability to manage supply chain operations in a complex manufacturing environment.
• Expert knowledge of manufacturing, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical product in a cGMP environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Experience participating in cross-functional teams.
• Analytical and project management skills with problem-solving capability.
• Ability to write SOPs and interact with Quality / Regulatory department.

Responsibilities

• Oversee global GEM network and ensure on-time shipment performance (SIFOT).
• Lead supplier management across regions and deploy scalable supply chain strategy.
• Coordinate dual processes of purchasing and internal/external sales to optimize profitability.
• Lead artwork group for product label change workflow ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Manage a group interfacing with distributors and suppliers to resolve escalated issues.
• Implement scorecards and dashboards to measure KPIs and drive improvement.
• Transform GEM systems toward automated IBP for future state.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in demand and supply reviews and drive mitigation actions.
