GE HealthCare in Ireland is seeking a Manufacturing Strategy Associate to support the development and execution of global manufacturing and capacity strategies that enable long-term growth, resilience, and security of supply.

The role collaborates with manufacturing sites, engineering, and supply chain teams to translate enterprise strategy into initiatives, roadmaps, and business cases, applying Lean, Six Sigma, and data-driven insights to optimize capacity and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  • 5–7 years in manufacturing operations, supply chain, engineering, or manufacturing strategy within regulated industries (pharma preferred).
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and capacity planning; experience with sterile/aseptic manufacturing is an advantage.
  • Experience working across global, cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authority.
  • Working knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement frameworks.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex analyses to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of global manufacturing, capacity, and resiliency strategies aligned with long-term objectives.
  • Translate manufacturing strategy into roadmaps, initiatives, and milestones across sites and functions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing sites, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify current- and future-state capacity requirements.
  • Contribute to business cases for manufacturing network design, capacity expansion, and related initiatives.
  • Provide analytical input and data-driven insights to support location and investment decisions.
