Job summary

MSD Ireland in Ballydine seeks a director-level Supply Chain Lead to head the site supply chain organisation, coordinating planning, logistics, procurement, and quality interfaces across inline and pipeline products. The role partners with global supply networks to deliver ready-for-launch supply and robust continuity, within a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The candidate will drive end-to-end supply chain excellence, build capability, lead a leadership team, and integrate site strategy

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in a related field
• 10+ years experience in pharma supply chain or regulated environments
• Experience leading leaders and large teams
• Ability to collaborate across site, regional and global networks

Responsibilities

• Lead Ballydine supply chain organisation including planning, logistics and procurement interfaces
• Provide strategic direction for the site supply chain team
• Drive supply chain excellence and KPIs to ensure continuity and efficiency
• Lead readiness for pipeline products and product launches
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure clear supply plans and capacity assumptions
• Own capacity planning and risk management aligned with divisional models
• Provide financial stewardship and budget control
• Align with Manufacturing Division requirements and enterprise objectives
