Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Director of Security Engineering to lead a globally distributed team of engineers delivering enterprise-scale security platforms. You will own strategy for AI/ML security products, drive platform adoption, and partner with product, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security by design.

Responsibilities include steering risk-based assessments, staffing and budget oversight, and delivering reusable security solutions across business domains.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers delivering security solutions on cloud platforms
• Experience building security engineering products for cloud-based apps and infrastructure
• Experience leading cross-functional technologists and product teams
• Proven hiring, mentoring, and talent development skills
• Experience acting as a product owner/manager for security products
• Experience using enterprise AI capabilities to support cybersecurity workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness
• Ability to validate AI-assisted security recommendations and ensure security, resiliency and auditability

Responsibilities

• Lead a globally distributed security engineering organization delivering high-impact platforms
• Own strategy, execution, and lifecycle of AI/ML security products and drive platform adoption
• Influence senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams
• Be accountable for resources, budget, and process execution
• Deliver technical security solutions reusable across businesses and domains
• Define and execute the function's objectives and outcomes
• Oversee staffing, budget, and P&L for the security org
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and respectful culture
• Lead risk and control strategies for Data & AI/ML services in public cloud
• Conduct risk-based assessments of technology controls for Data & AI/ML cloud services
