Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Support Engineer to join the SATCOM Technical Support team. The role requires fluency in German and hands-on troubleshooting of satellite network issues. You will analyze performance data, resolve escalated cases, and contribute to technical documentation while coordinating with cross-functional teams.

This position can be based in Cork or Dublin and may involve rotating shifts. You will work with customers and internal groups to maintain high service quality and customer

Qualifications

Fluent in German (speaking, writing and reading).
RF fundamentals including carrier operations, link budgets and satellite ground equipment.
Background in L3 NOC operations with on-call support experience.

Responsibilities

Handle escalated cases involving service degradation and technical issues.
Analyze performance data (latency, jitter, packet loss) and configurations to restore service levels.
Develop and document technical solutions, contribute to knowledge base, and provide guidance to customers and internal teams.
Drive cases to resolution with cross-functional collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction.
Work rotating shifts and variable days off as required.
