Job summary

Force Executive Search is recruiting a General Manager to lead a growing pharmaceutical business in Ireland. The role carries full P&L responsibility and spans sales, strategy, product management, budgets, customer relationships and business development.

You will drive performance, win new business and expand the portfolio into new market segments while reporting to the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in senior management.
• Track record of leading cross-functional teams and holding full P&L responsibility.
• Good knowledge of the retail brands industry and how the Irish market works.
• Proven results in business development and in building long-term relationships.
• Commercial, entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction of the business and pursue growth opportunities across pharma and related sectors.
• Take full accountability for sales performance, market growth and profitability.
• Run day-to-day operations across sales, marketing, product management and customer service; lead and develop teams to meet targets.
• Build and hold strong client relationships from initial concept through to contract and post-launch.
• Ensure regulatory, quality, health and safety obligations are met and a culture of professionalism and integrity is maintained.
