Job summary

The Hardiman on Eyre Square in Galway invites applications for a Concierge assistant to join our Front Office team. You will welcome guests, assist with luggage, and provide local information to create a memorable stay.

Ideal candidates have hotel or customer-facing experience, excellent communication, and strong knowledge of Galway. Familiarity with Opera Cloud is a plus, and a friendly, team-oriented approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel or customer-facing experience
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Knowledge of Galway and surrounding areas
• Experience with Opera Cloud is desirable but not essential
• Ability to work well as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Provide valet parking services and safely handle guest vehicles
• Support guests with luggage and general enquiries
• Provide local information and arrange restaurant, tour, and activity bookings
• Handle guest requests and coordinate with other departments
• Deliver a warm, efficient, and memorable guest experience
