Job summary

Bluebird Care Galway is seeking enthusiastic, positive and highly organised people to join our expanding team in Galway City. The Care Coordinator / Scheduler plays a key role in the successful day to day running of our business, requiring excellent interpersonal skills and a warm, flexible communication style.

You will develop relationships with staff, customers and family members, coordinate work schedules, support on-call rosters, handle customer queries, and assist senior management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant is desirable but not essential.
• A recognised qualification in office administration or relevant experience.
• Min 1 year experience working within a homecare office setting desirable.
• Strong computer literacy skills essential.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage own workload and be a team player.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers and their family members, and with HSE Health and Social Care Services personnel.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to members of the public and colleagues.
• Provide administration support and effectively co-ordinate work schedules.
• Work on the On-Call service on a rota basis with your colleagues.
• Respond to all customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Be the first point of contact for Customers & Staff.
