Job summary

Godfrey North in Ireland is seeking a Manager with strong Fund Accounting experience to join its growing financial services advisory team. The role focuses on fund accounting, operational challenges, and advisory projects rather than BAU portfolio management.

You will work with Geneva implementations, migrations and process improvements, supporting Private Equity fund administration and broader alternatives.

Qualifications

• Strong experience within Fund Accounting, Fund Administration or Asset Servicing.
• Experience in Private Equity fund administration preferred.
• Exposure to Private Credit, Real Assets, Hedge Funds or other alternative investment structures would be valuable.
• Strong understanding of fund accounting processes and the operational lifecycle of investment funds.
• Experience of systems implementation, migration, transformation or process improvement would be advantageous.
• Previous experience supervising teams, managing projects or leading workstreams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills for client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise asset managers, fund administrators and other financial services clients on fund accounting and operational challenges.
• Lead projects involving Geneva implementations, migrations, upgrades and process optimisation.
• Assess existing fund accounting processes, controls and operating models and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide technical fund accounting expertise across complex alternative investment structures.
• Support projects involving NAV processes, reconciliations, valuations, investor allocations, capital activity and financial reporting.
• Translate business and accounting requirements into effective operational and system solutions.
• Lead workstreams and manage project delivery from initial analysis through implementation.
• Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Technology and Fund Administration.
• Manage and develop junior members of the advisory team.
• Contribute to proposals, client presentations and the continued growth of the firm's Funds and Asset Management advisory offering.
