Job summary

Godfrey North is seeking an experienced Senior Manager to join its Financial Reporting & Advisory team. You will oversee the delivery of complex advisory engagements, acting as a trusted advisor to finance leaders while supporting organisations through technical accounting challenges, business transformation and evolving reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).
• Six years+ post-qualified experience within audit, financial reporting or accounting advisory.
• Experience leading large client engagements and managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience using CaseWare or comparable financial reporting software is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of financial reporting and accounting advisory engagements with exceptional client service.
• Provide expert technical advice across IFRS, FRS 102 and US GAAP.
• Advise on acquisitions, restructurings, consolidations, and revenue recognition.
• Oversee engagement planning, resource management, quality assurance and financial performance.
• Build long-term relationships with senior finance executives as a trusted advisor.
• Lead, coach and develop managers and wider team members.
• Support business development with proposals and client presentations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines and international teams.
• Promote governance, risk management and regulatory compliance.
• Drive innovation and best practices across the advisory function.
