Job summary

Northern Trust in Ireland is seeking a Fund Accounting consultant to review and sign off NAV calculations, acting as the subject matter expert for fund-specific requirements. The role includes leading the rollout of system enhancements and procedures and may involve directing one or two reports.

Qualifications

• Previous fund accounting experience preferred.
• Detailed knowledge of Enterprise Fund Accounting applications preferred.
• Strong client servicing and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate systems testing within the team.
• Mentor colleagues on projects and assignments.
• Represent the team on cross-functional process or project deliverables.
• Roll out new procedures within the team in consultation with NAV Managers.
• Contribute to long-term strategy for the department.
• Interact with clients via presentations and maintain quality service.
• Develop training and succession plans for staff levels.
• Manage project task allocation and progress reporting.
