Job summary

Grant Thornton Ireland is seeking a technically strong fund accounting professional to join our FAAS team in Cork. You will work on NAV production, reconciliations and client deliverables for asset management clients.

The role requires 5–7 years of fund accounting experience, familiarity with Geneva or Investran, and a collaborative approach to mentoring junior staff while driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of fund accounting and fund administration functions.
• Experience in asset management and fund administration.
• Experience in large multinational projects is beneficial.
• 5–7 years in fund accounting, with consulting or asset manager exposure.
• Self-motivated, able to lead junior staff and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and Excel skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Provide clients with fund accounting expertise on projects and engagements, including NAV production support.
• Assist with NAV calculations and related processes as required by engagements.
• Improve NAV production and fund administration processes through timelines and controls.
• Reconcile Prime Broker, Custodian or other counterparty data to client systems with break resolution.
• Mentor junior staff and develop client-facing materials and templates.
• Act as SME for Geneva/Investran and related systems to enhance delivery.
