The Mespil Hotel is seeking a Reception Supervisor for a 6-month maternity cover, on-site in Dublin. You will lead the Reception team, ensure smooth shift operation, and deliver a warm, professional guest experience.

Ideal candidates will have strong Front Office knowledge, team leadership experience, and fluency in English. This role offers the opportunity to develop supervisory hospitality skills within a 4-star hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of front office and hotel reception operations.
• Previous experience leading a team.
• Strong knowledge of Opera PMS.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Organisational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the reception desk.
• Supervise, support and delegate tasks to Reception team members.
• Assist the Front Office Manager with daily duties as required.
• Maintain excellent customer service standards throughout the guest journey.
• Induct and train new Reception team members in line with standards.
• Coordinate with Accommodation regarding room availability and guest requirements.
