Job summary

Ministry Brands is seeking a hands-on Front End Engineer to join our Galway team in a hybrid role within an Agile product and engineering environment. You will bridge design and production code, building high-performance web experiences and reusable UI components.

You will collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and engineers to deliver accessible, modern interfaces, while contributing to the design system and leveraging AI-assisted tools to accelerate development.

Qualifications

3+ years of Front-End Development or UX Engineering
Experience designing and building modern web applications
Portfolio demonstrating UX design and front-end implementation

Responsibilities

Design intuitive, user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications
Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to translate user needs into elegant solutions
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs
Build and maintain reusable front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks
Contribute to design system and component library
Champion accessibility, responsive, and inclusive design practices
Conduct usability testing and analyze feedback to improve UX
Work with AI-assisted design/development tools to speed iteration
Participate in Agile ceremonies throughout the SDLC
Stay current with UX trends and front-end best practices
