Ministry Brands in Galway is seeking a hands‑on UX Engineer (Individual Contributor) to bridge UX design and front‑end development, turning research and wireframes into production‑ready code within an Agile team.

You will help establish design system standards, build reusable UI components with React and TypeScript, champion accessibility, and work with AI‑assisted design tools to accelerate iteration while delivering a modern, high‑performance SaaS experience.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and building modern web applications.
• Strong UX principles, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Portfolio demonstrating UX design and front-end implementation work.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, user-centred experiences for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into elegant solutions.
• Create user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, mock-ups, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Build and maintain reusable front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately and consistently.
• Contribute to and maintain our design system and component library.
• Champion accessibility, usability, responsive design, and inclusive design best practices.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and analyse customer feedback to continuously improve the user experience.
• Work with AI-assisted design and development tools to improve productivity and accelerate design iteration.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Stay current with UX trends, emerging technologies, and front-end best practices.
