Job summary

Ahoy is seeking a Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer in Dublin. You will own end-to-end frontend features, from design through deployment, focusing on trust in the customer-facing interface and fast, data-dense views.

You will collaborate with the founders, establish frontend patterns, and advocate for accessibility as a default throughout the product. This is a hybrid role based in Dublin with several in-person days per week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years shipping production frontend features.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment.
• Hybrid work in Dublin; willingness to be in person several days a week.
• Experience with accessibility as a default in UI design.

Responsibilities

• Build surfaces where agent work becomes visible.
• Own features end to end: design review, implementation, instrumentation, bug fixes.
• Make fast feel fast; optimize perceived performance on data-dense views.
• Pair with the founders on what to build next and challenge assumptions.
• Set frontend patterns for the team: component structure, state, testing, accessibility.
