Job summary

Temple Bar Hotel Dublin is seeking a Receptionist to join our front office team. You will report to the Front Office Manager and Front Office Supervisor, delivering outstanding guest experiences and supporting your colleagues to uphold high service standards.

You will welcome guests, handle check-ins/outs, manage bookings, and resolve inquiries promptly while maintaining records and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and data protection policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in receptionist/front office role in hospitality preferred.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills required.
• Experience supervising/mentoring a team and guiding colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, check-ins/outs, and address inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Assist in training and supervising reception staff to standards.
• Manage bookings, correspondence, and guest records accurately.
• Resolve guest concerns and coordinate with departments.
• Ensure reception aligns with health and safety, data protection, and policies.
• Prepare occupancy and front desk reports for management.
• Promote hotel services, upgrades, and local experiences.
