Job summary

Cavan Crystal Hotel on Dublin Road is seeking part-time food and beverage waitstaff to join our friendly team. You will serve guests across the Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant and Function Rooms, delivering friendly, efficient service and upselling where appropriate.

The ideal candidate has experience in hospitality, excellent English, and a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends. Benefits include meals on duty, staff discounts, and a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities

Greet regular customers courteously

Location: Cavan Crystal Hotel, Dublin Road

We’re currently seeking Part‑Time Food & Beverage Waitstaff to join our friendly and dynamic team. This role requires availability to work both midweek and weekends.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Supervisors, the successful candidate will deliver friendly, efficient service to our guests across the Breakfast, Bar, Restaurant, and Function Rooms.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

To greet regular customers courteously.
To find appropriate tables and sit guests for dining.
To take food and drink orders in a hospitable manner.
Monitor the bar / restaurant floor to ensure efficient and personalised service is delivered to customers.
Ensure a good working knowledge of the food and drinks on our menus and be willing and able to make recommendations.
Be friendly, courteous and professional at all times.
To up‑sell and maximise sales revenue whenever and wherever possible both in the hotel or wider group.
Completing daily and weekly cleaning checklists ensuring high standards of hygiene at all times.

Previous experience working in a bar or restaurant would be advantageous.
