Job summary

The Hardiman in Galway is seeking an experienced F&B Supervisor to lead our restaurant team and uphold our high standards of guest care and service.

You will oversee service setup, greet guests, and ensure smooth daily operations while supporting continuous improvements and strong teamwork across departments.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
• Experience in a busy environment and working to tight deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills and time management.
• Experience producing and manipulating reports.
• Fluency in English plus one other European language would be advantageous.

Job description

We are currently seeking an experienced hospitality professional to join the team as a F&B Supervisor and continue the longstanding tradition of the highest customer care, attention and service at The Hardiman. We require a talented Food & Beverage Supervisor to help lead our team to deliver excellent service to our guests. This will include supervising all areas of the restaurant including ensuring set up for service, meeting & greeting guests and ensuring the efficient and smooth running of service.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Restaurant Supervisor in Ireland
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, creative problem solving skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
• Experience of working in a busy environment and working to tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team to meet immovable deadlines
• Excellent organisational skills/time management Attention to detail and excellent written communication skills
• Experience of producing and manipulating reports
• A flexible approach to work and openness to assisting the operation from time to time.
• Experience in a wide variety of office applications/software package
• Fluency in English plus one other European language would be advantageous.
