Job summary

O'Callaghan Collection is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Leader to oversee dining operations across Dublin venues. You will lead service, training, and scheduling while upholding quality and safety standards to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong people skills, hospitality qualification, and a proven track record in F&B. A dynamic work environment with progression opportunities and competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Food & Beverage service.
  • Completed Hospitality/ Travel / Tourism qualification.
  • Ability to communicate with employees and customers and multitask.
  • Excellent presentation and appearance.
  • Sales-related skills and IT ability (MICROS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate activities of F&B staff including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure quality control from food prep to presentation and health & safety compliance.
  • Manage inventory, stock checks, and ordering to control costs.
  • Maintain high customer service standards and resolve guest concerns.
  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and profitability strategies.
  • Collaborate with chefs on menu development and promotions to drive traffic.

Role information:
  • Team Management: Oversee and coordinate the activities of the food and beverage staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and beverage operations meet quality standards, from preparation to presentation, maintaining consistency and adherence to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory and Ordering: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies to maintain adequate levels while controlling costs.
  • Customer Service: Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing concerns, resolving complaints, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for guests.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and cost control measures, monitoring expenses, analysing financial reports, and implementing strategies to maximize profitability without compromising quality.
  • Menu Development and Promotion: Collaborate with chefs to develop menus, create special promotions, and implement marketing strategies to attract guests and increase revenue.
Requirements:
  • Previous work Experience in Food & Beverage Service
  • Completed Hospitality/ Travel / Tourism qualification
  • Ability to communicate with employees and customers, solve multiple problems at the same time, set up priorities, organize work and make certain decisions
