Job summary

Ayvens is seeking an Operations team member to ensure continuous mobility of the fleet. You will control maintenance works, authorise repairs, and coordinate between clients and suppliers, while supporting drivers and internal staff.

You will process high volumes of telephone enquiries, manage repairs approvals, and monitor costs to minimise expenses. A strong team player with technical knowledge and excellent numeracy is essential.

Qualifications

• Technician qualification essential (Motor Mechanics) or equivalent experience in an authoritative position such as Service Manager/Advisor at a dealership or vehicle manufacturer.
• Experience working in a corporate office environment and dealing with customers is advantageous.
• Excellent numeracy and literacy required.
• Computer literate with excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (Word, Excel), Lotus Notes and garage systems desirable.
• Pragmatic decision-maker with good technical knowledge.
• High customer satisfaction drive with negotiation skills to resolve issues.
• Good telephone communicator with suppliers and customers.
• High achievement and drive with the ability to deliver results.
• Team player with enthusiasm and commitment to team goals.
• Flexibility to carry out varied tasks and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a team, efficiently process high volumes of telephone enquiries. Daily authorisation of repairs, issuing approval numbers and agreeing SMR costs within guidelines.
• Organising the logistics around the CVRT test requirements.
• Daily update of Database and correspondence.
• Ensure vehicle downtime is kept to a minimum and operating costs stay within budgets.
• Communicate with vehicle manufacturers and liaise with their representatives on after sales policy issues.
• Resolve quality issues as directed by line manager.
• Ensure complaints/communications are dealt with per policy and guidelines.
• Undertake any reasonable role-related duties as required by line manager.
• Achieve team goals and personal targets per line manager.
• Required to work on a rotational basis to cover departmental hours.
