Job summary

Carton House, a five-star resort and the first Fairmont-managed hotel in Ireland, is seeking a Guest Relations Agent to join our Front Office team. You will warmly welcome guests, assist with luggage, answer calls and emails, and provide information on local amenities, acting as a key point of contact to ensure guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a 5-star Front Office role, excellent communication skills, works well under pressure, and is flexible to shift patterns.

Qualifications

• 1 year+ experience in a 5* hotel Front Office role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of Opera desired but not essential.
• Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail.
• Flexible approach to work hours (shift work).
• Previous Guest Service experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and bid farewell on departure.
• Assist with delivery and safekeeping of guest luggage.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to emails.
• Provide information to guests; be a key point of contact.
• Advise guests on local amenities and attractions.
• Ensure guest satisfaction.
• Work in a fast-paced environment.
