Job summary

Morgan McKinley in Dublin seeks an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join its growing Advisory team. You will lead financial reporting engagements, review statements and provide technical accounting guidance across IFRS, US GAAP and Lux GAAP while developing client relationships with auditors and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes team leadership, process improvement, and the use of automation, including AI, to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency for fund accounting and regulatory

Qualifications

• Around 6–8 years' experience in financial reporting.
• Experience managing teams and client engagements.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements and technical accounting.
• Experience with IFRS, US GAAP and/or Lux GAAP.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join a growing Advisory team in Dublin.

This role is ideal for a qualified accountant with strong financial reporting experience. Experience working with investment funds or asset management clients would be highly advantageous.

You will manage client engagements, oversee financial reporting delivery, lead a team and support projects focused on process improvement, automation and AI.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Good commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in investment funds, asset management or financial services.
• Fund accounting and regulatory reporting experience.
• Multi-GAAP or multi-jurisdictional reporting experience.
• Experience with systems such as Geneva, Investran or Yardi.
• Experience with reporting platforms such as Workiva, DFIN or OneStream.
• Experience delivering automation or financial reporting transformation projects.
• An interest in AI and emerging technology.
