Job summary

Brightwater Recruitment is seeking a senior Financial Reporting professional to cover engagements from Manager to Director level in Dublin on a daily rate contract. Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CPA or equivalent IFAC qualification.
• 8+ years' relevant experience within investment fund financial reporting.
• Strong experience reviewing and/or preparing complex investment fund financial statements and disclosures.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and/or Lux GAAP.
• Experience managing teams, clients and/or multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial reporting engagements and projects, ensuring quality, delivery, risk and deadlines.
• Review complex investment fund financial statements, disclosures, schedules and audit packs.
• Provide guidance on complex accounting and reporting matters across regimes (US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP).
• Collaborate with senior client stakeholders and build strong working relationships.
• Support regulatory and financial reporting requirements across jurisdictions and asset classes.
• Manage priorities, resources and delivery across concurrent assignments.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, controls and service delivery.
• Lead remediation, transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Coach junior and mid-level team members as needed.
• Contribute to workforce planning and wider team initiatives.
• Support fund accounting and regulatory reporting activities.

Manager to Director Level | Dublin | Daily Rate Contract

We are currently seeking experienced Financial Reporting professionals at Manager through Director level for a senior daily-rate contract opportunity supporting asset management and investment fund clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced financial reporting professional to work across a range of financial reporting engagements, business process reviews, remediation projects and interim assignments, providing technical expertise and senior-level client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial reporting engagements and projects, taking responsibility for quality, delivery, risk and deadlines.
• Review complex investment fund financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit support packs.
• Provide technical guidance on complex accounting and reporting matters, including valuation, financial instruments, consolidation, related parties and going concern.
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders, providing practical advice and developing strong working relationships.
• Support complex accounting, regulatory and financial reporting requirements across different jurisdictions and asset classes.
• Manage project priorities, resources and delivery expectations across multiple concurrent assignments.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting processes, controls and service delivery.
• Lead or support remediation, transformation and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to junior and mid-level team members where required.
• Contribute to workforce planning, resource management, training and wider team initiatives.
• Support fund accounting and regulatory reporting activities where required.
• Depending on level and experience, contribute to digital, automation and AI-enabled financial reporting initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent IFAC qualification.
