Financial Reporting Manager – 12‑Month FTC (In‑House | Professional Services | Dublin)

Location: Dublin (Hybrid)

A leading professional services firm is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join its internal finance team on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. This is a hands‑on reporting role with ownership of month‑end close, statutory compliance, and audit delivery — supporting senior stakeholders across the firm’s partner‑led environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver accurate month‑end close, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting across the business.
• Prepare and review management accounts, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
• Manage year‑end statutory accounts preparation and coordinate the external audit process end‑to‑end.
• Oversee cashflow reporting, banking oversight, reconciliations, and core control processes.
• Act as a key finance partner to senior leaders, providing clear insight and commercial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with VAT, VIES, CSO, 46G, and other regulatory filings.
• Drive improvements in reporting processes, systems, and internal controls.
• Provide guidance and support within the finance team; potential to supervise a junior accountant depending on experience.

About You

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with 4+ years experience.
• Strong background in financial reporting, statutory accounts, and audit management.
• Experience within professional services or a similarly complex, multi‑stakeholder environment.
• Confident communicator able to engage effectively with partners and senior management.
• Robust technical understanding of FRS 102, Irish tax/VAT requirements, and regulatory filings.
