Our client

Our client is a leading Financial Services organisation seeking to appoint a Fund Financial Reporting Manager to its growing Dublin team.

The position is focused on Hedge Fund financial reporting and would suit a qualified accountant with strong investment fund experience who has progressed into a review, team leadership and delivery-focused position.

The successful candidate will take ownership of financial reporting deliverables across a portfolio of investment funds, reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules while coordinating with Fund Administrators, Auditors and other key stakeholders.

Who should apply?

Candidates should have:

• ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent IFAC qualification.
• Approximately 4–5 years' relevant investment fund financial reporting experience.
• Exposure to Geneva and financial statement production/reporting systems would be beneficial.
• At least 1–2 years' experience leading team members, coordinating projects and managing reporting deliverables.
• Strong experience preparing and/or reviewing investment fund financial statements.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS and/or Lux GAAP, with multi-GAAP experience particularly advantageous.
• Experience working with Fund Administrators and Auditors.
• Previous Fund Accounting experience, including period-end reporting, would be advantageous.
• An interest in automation, AI and improving financial reporting processes.

Role and Reporting Lines

The Fund Financial Reporting Manager will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of financial reporting across a portfolio of Hedge Funds.

Responsibilities will include allocating work across preparers and reviewers, reviewing financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules and audit support packs, and ensuring reporting deadlines are met.

You will coordinate reporting plans and outstanding items while maintaining regular communication with Fund Administrators, Auditors and other stakeholders.

The position will also involve coaching team members on fund reporting requirements and review standards, supporting Fund Accounting and regulatory reporting activities where required, and contributing to the continued improvement and automation of financial reporting processes.

The successful candidate will also have exposure to the controlled use of emerging technology and AI within recurring reporting activities, with appropriate review and verification remaining central to the process.
