Job summary

Noel Group in South Dublin seeks a Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting and IFRS/FRS102 compliance across the Irish business. Reporting to the CFO, you will drive system improvements, cash flow management and due diligence for potential acquisitions.

The role is ideal for a Senior Accountant moving into FC or with multi-site experience, offering a competitive €85-90k base, annual bonus, healthcare and pension, plus clear career progression.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with a recognised body.
• 5 years senior accounting experience in multi-site organisation.
• Stable work history showing progression.
• Resident within commuting distance of south county Dublin.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control and reporting, ensuring IFRS/FRS102 compliance.
• Manage and improve tight financial controls across the group of multiple branches.
• Lead systems and process improvements to maximise existing systems.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital, audit, tax and compliance.
• Deliver strategic projects including due diligence and support for potential acquisitions.

We are recruiting a Group Financial Controller, on behalf of our client, an international Healthcare company with offices in South Dublin.

Reporting to the CFO, the role will involve day to day management of the finance function and specifically managing and continuous improvements of financial controls within the Irish business.

The role would be a very good opportunity for a Senior Accountant stepping into a Financial Controller role or someone with a couple of years at FC level and has multi-site experience.

Key responsibilities

• Leading financial control and reporting, ensuing compliance with IFRS/FRS102.
• Managing and improving tight financial controls across the group, which consists of multiple branches.
• Lead systems and process improvement, making the most out of the use of existing systems
• Cash flow, working capital, audit, tax and compliance
• Strategic projects including due diligence and supporting potential acquisitions through financial analysis

Minimum requirements

• Accountancy qualification by a recognised by a recognised body
• 5 years senior accounting experience in a multi-site organisation
• Stable work history showing progression and achievement in previous roles
• Living in a commuting distance of south county Dublin
