Job summary

Grace Healthcare Ireland invites applications for a Group Financial Controller role based in Sandyford, Co Dublin. You will lead the day-to-day finance function, ensuring robust controls, accurate reporting and effective cash management across multiple sites.

You will partner with operational management, drive budgeting and forecasting, and support capital planning and strategic projects led by the CFO. Hybrid working arrangements are supported.

Qualifications

• Five years’ post-qualification experience.
• Experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Finance Manager or in a similar leadership role.
• Proven experience managing multi-site operations or Group structures.
• Strong management accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting experience.
• Advanced Excel, financial modelling and ERP/accounting systems skills.
• Strong understanding of internal controls, governance and statutory compliance.
• Experience working with auditors, tax advisors, banks and external stakeholders.
• Healthcare, hospitality, retail, property or service‑sector experience is desirable.
• Acquisition, integration or strategic project experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, including management accounts and Group consolidation.
• Maintain strong financial controls, governance and accounting policies in line with IFRS/FRS 102, Companies Act requirements and Group standards.
• Lead annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Partner with operational teams and nursing home management to support performance and achieve financial targets.
• Manage Group cash flow forecasting, treasury, working capital, banking relationships and funding requirements.
• Support capital investment planning and financing activities.
• Coordinate audit, tax and statutory reporting requirements, including Corporation Tax, VAT and payroll taxes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, establishing clear KPIs and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Drive finance systems development, automation, data integrity and process efficiency.
• Support acquisitions, integrations, due diligence, new facility openings and other strategic projects led by the CFO.

Role Purpose
