Engage People Recruitment seeks a Financial Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract in Dublin. You will join a lean, high-performing finance team within a growing energy business, reporting to the Finance Manager and supporting day-to-day finance operations.

Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, cash flow analysis, budgeting, year-end audit support, and coordination with external auditors. The role suits a newly or recently qualified accountant with Big 4 exposure.

Formación

• Big 4 qualification with up to 1 year PQE.
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the preparation of monthly financial results and management accounts.
• Monitoring cash flow and providing financial analysis for monthly reporting.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and the year-end audit.
• Supporting audits relating to joint venture activities.
• Working with external statutory auditors and third-party service providers.
