Responsibilities include monthly management accounts, cash flow analysis, budgeting, year-end audit support, and coordination with external auditors. The role suits a newly or recently qualified accountant with Big 4 exposure.

Qualifications

• Big 4 qualification with up to 1 year PQE.
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills.
• Excellent Excel and PowerPoint capability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Financial Accountant | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Dublin

I'm currently recruiting for a client in the renewable energy sector for a Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or recently qualified accountant to join a lean, high-performing finance team within a growing energy business with significant investment and development activity across Ireland and Europe.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, with exposure to senior finance leadership, you will support both the day-to-day running of the finance function and a range of broader strategic and commercial activities.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the preparation of monthly financial results and management accounts


• Monitoring cash flow and providing financial analysis for monthly reporting


• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis


• Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements and the year-end audit


• Supporting audits relating to joint venture activities


• Working with external statutory auditors and third-party service providers

Requirements:
